Speyside Glenlivet

Sponsoring the Regional Awards
SPEYSIDE GLENLIVET - THE HEIGHT OF GOOD TASTE
Speyside Glenlivet is sourced and bottled on the remote Crown Estate of Glenlivet, Scotland. At over 1,000 feet above sea level, it is the highest, naturally occurring spring in the UK. The early distillers of the world's finest whiskies came to Speyside looking for the purest water and here they stayed. Little wonder then that Speyside Glenlivet is known today as one of the purest, premium mineral waters in the world.
Available in both still and sparkling, Speyside Glenlivet is prized for its unusually low mineral content making it the ideal accompaniment to fine dining. The soft, refreshing taste helps cleanse the palate allowing the subtle flavours of fine food, wine and whisky to shine through.
Great chefs and sommeliers the world over adore Speyside Glenlivet's exceptional purity and it's the choice of many leading restaurants and hotels in the UK including The Ledbury, The Cadogan, Restaurant Martin Wishart, The Kitchin, The Dorchester and Hotel du Vin. We are proud to say that it also graces the tables at Michel Roux Jr's Michelin Two Star restaurant, Le Gavroche.
Little wonder great chefs adore it.

Sustainable Restaurant Association

Sustainable Restaurant of the Year
Established in 2010, the Sustainable Restaurant Association is a not-for-profit membership organisation helping restaurants become more sustainable and diners make more sustainable choices when dining out. We help our member restaurants source food more sustainably, manage resources more efficiently and work more closely with their communities. We work with restaurants of all types - from high street chains to local independents, from Michelin starred restaurants to street food caterers, from large hotels to gastro-pubs, from contract caterers to take aways - and our members cover the length and breadth of the UK. Our Sustainability Rating system means diners can choose a restaurant that matches their sustainability priorities, and features alongside Giles Coren's restaurant reviews every Saturday in the Times and in Harden's online and printed restaurant guides. We recognise restaurants as one, two or three star sustainability champions depending on how they rate against a wide range of criteria covering 14 areas of sustainability.
We campaign on important issues such as food waste, have developed accredited sustainability training, work with sustainable suppliers through our Approved Supplier system and provide a range of consultancy services, but our core focus is to support our members on their journey of sustainability. We know that diners want restaurants to take their environmental and social responsibilities more seriously and the SRA is here to help restaurants to meet that challenge. It makes sense for the environment, but it also makes sense for business.
