Service excellence and improvement have been at the heart of Liberty Wines’ operations since day one, 25 years ago. Their simple objective is to deliver the right wine to the right place at the right time. Named On-trade Supplier of the Year eleven times and Wine Educator of the Year five times by the International Wine Challenge, the company continues to invest in education and training for customers and staff, believing that increased knowledge improves service. Liberty Wines is delighted to sponsor the Service Award at the National Restaurant Awards for the ninth year and reward those in the industry who take outstanding service as seriously as they do.
Rathfinny Wine Estate, official sparkling wine partner to the National Restaurant Awards, brings the same ethos of excellence to this event. Family-owned Rathfinny was founded in 2010 in the South Downs by Mark and Sarah Driver, with the express intention of producing the finest quality English sparkling wines. Their commitment to sustainability is multi-layered, embracing biodiversity, soil and vine management, water and energy use, and locally sourced materials. The estate has been certified B Corp since April 2023. The Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier grapes for their 2018 Classic Cuvée Brut and 2018 Rosé Brut Sussex Sparklings are estate-grown, hand-harvested, whole-bunch pressed and vinified with as little intervention as possible to preserve the purest expression of place and vintage.
