Held at the vibrant Café François in London’s Borough Market, the inaugural event unveiled the 'Class of 2025'. This year's list consisted of 24 exceptional chefs, sommeliers, restaurateurs, and front-of-house professionals from across the industry.
Candidates were nominated by chefs and restaurateurs from across the sector with the aim of recognising individuals who are set to become the industry's next leading lights.
Three standout Rising Stars also received special recognition in their relevant roles, Hannah Cripps of Roe in Canary Wharf was named Rising Star in the Sommelier category (sponsored by Square), Lulu Perry of the two Michelin-starred A. Wong took home Rising Star in the Chef category (sponsored by HG Walter), and Freddie Clarke of 18 Restaurant at Rusacks St Andrews was awarded Rising Star in the Front of House (sponsored by OpenTable).
