Tucked atop the Ice Factory redevelopment in Belgravia’s Eccleston Yards, Cornus is a sophisticated rooftop restaurant from the team behind Chelsea favourite Medlar. Named after a genus of flowering plants, Cornus launched in 2024 and brings polished, produce-led European cuisine to one of London’s most elegant postcodes.
The kitchen is led by Gary Foulkes, who was a key member of the team at Phil Howard’s seminal Mayfair restaurant The Square and is best known for his stint at seafood restaurant Angler. The food is unapologetically high-end but unfussy - expect generous plates showcasing premium ingredients executed with precision and flair.
Cornus is also home to acclaimed pastry chef Kelly Cullen, whose sophisticated takes on crowd-pleasing desserts include a brown sugar custard tart and rice pudding with Amarena cherry ripple ice cream. Overseen by top sommelier Melania Battiston, the wine list is big on burgundies and offers an extensive by-the-glass selection.
Designed by Day Studio, the interior is sleek and stylish with mid-century accents, marble finishes and panoramic windows. With serious culinary pedigree and a quietly luxurious vibe, Cornus is a destination that feels right at home in this recently revitalised pocket of the capital.
